The Applied Immunization (Aimm) research team works to address real-world questions and challenges in immunization practices, policy, and public decision-making.
Dr. Shannon MacDonald
As lead of the Aimm team, Dr. MacDonald has a particular interest in addressing system-level barriers and supports to immunization, especially in under-served populations. She is a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Applied Pediatric Immunization. As the mother of two young children, she feels passionate about promoting the health of families in Canada and worldwide.
